Emyr “Shark” Bussade is a Brazillian Jiu-jitse Black Belt and Professional Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) Fighter.
Born and raised in the city of Niteroi, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Shark started training under the legendary Charlson Gracie where he competed for 5 years. After the split, Shark followed his Master (Ricardo Liborio) to BTT where he trained for 2 years before coming to Florida in May of 2002 to join ATT. Shark won the World (Mundials) Championship in 2001, and was runner-up in 2000. He was also a Brazilian Champ ’99, and competed in the prestigious Abu Dhabi tournament where he placed 3rd in 2001. Shark received his black belt from Ricardo Liborio in 2002.
He is known as an extremely hard worker, tough fighter, and great teammate at American Top Team. Shark is the 2008 Naga Couch of the Year and has been the kids and adults coach in the ATT main branch in Coconut Creek for 5 years.
